AFTERNOON ENRICHMENT

In the afternoons, after our Summer Program closes for the day, we are offering a series of unique programs to our community.

You do not need to be registered in our Summer Program to Participate.

A minimum number of students are required for each class.

Space is limited so sign up early to secure your child’s spot.

Summer Robotic craft Club with Mr. Sam
For Grades 2-8

Your children are invited to learn the basics of robotics and engineering by building simple robots including cars that light up, hi-tech paper airplanes, and robots that wobble and draw geometric patterns.

The program lasts for Four Weeks running from June 16th - July 11th on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:30-4:30. You do not need to be part of the Summer Program to enroll.

The cost for all 8 sessions is $225 or $35 per drop-in session. This includes all materials.

Summer Chess Club with Mr. Sam
For Grades 1-8

We are excited to offer your child, in grades 1-8, the opportunity to join Mr. Sam for chess lessons and practice. Through engaging activities, Mr. Sam will introduce chess strategies and tactics, guide students through exciting new concepts, and prepare them for higher-level play.

Mr. Sam began taking chess classes as early as Kindergarten, learning from the same teacher who coached Hikaru Nakamura, the current #2 chess player in the world. With a lifelong passion for chess, Mr. Sam enjoys competing in tournaments and holds an online rating of 1700.

The program lasts for Four Weeks from June 16th - July 11th with Beginner Chess on Mondays and Advanced Chess on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30. You do not need to be part of the Summer Program to enroll.

The cost for 4 sessions is $125 or $35 per drop-in session.

Cooking Club for Grades 1-4

We are excited to offer your child an invitation to join Ms. Samy in our upcoming Cooking Club. While experimenting with a variety of recipes, our groups will explore cooking basics, practice kitchen safety and etiquette, and make a variety of tasty dishes to enjoy!

Children in first through rising fourth grades are welcome to join us on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30.

The cost for 4 sessions is $125 or $35 per drop-in session. This includes all ingredients and materials.

painting Club for Grades 1-4

We are excited to offer your child an invitation to join Ms. Samy in our upcoming Painting Club. Our teacher will guide our children with a unique watercolor painting each week to match the theme of our Summer Program.

Children in grades 1 through 4 are welcome to join us on Fridays from 3:30-4:30.

The cost for 4 sessions is $125 or $35 per drop-in session. This includes all materials.

Summer Strategy Games with Mr. Sam
For Grades 5+

Enjoy a variety of board games with Mr. Sam! Students will practice critical thinking, strategic planning, and basic math and probability skills.

The program lasts for one week, from 9am-3pm daily, running from June 16th - June 20th.

The cost for one week is $350.

HOW TO Pay

Cash or Check payments are preferred and are the payment methods available for families not currently enrolled with WSPB.

Parents can be billed via TADS if requested for WSPB students enrolled in the 2025-26 school year.

1st payment due on Friday, May 30th, 2025 to secure your space. Classes are available on a first come first serve basis with a limited group size. Once your payment is received your spot is secured.

All following payments are due 7 days before the start of each camp week. Your child will not be able to attend if payment is not received.
