NURSERY SCHOOL
A nurturing environment and gentle daily rhythm give children the confidence, security, and independence needed as they transition from home to their first phase of school life.
A whole-child approach provides students with the tools necessary for the foundation of academic excellence; sequencing, sensory integration, hand-eye coordination, and appreciating the intricacies of language are just some of the skills fostered in this natural, loving, and creative environment.
Each school day follows a consistent rhythm, so children find comfort in knowing what to expect, while the daily activates offer a diverse wealth of learning experiences through purposeful work and movement. A typical day may include:
Circle-time for finger plays, movement, songs, verses, and rhymes to inspire a love of language and develop fine and gross motor skills
Practical activities such as vegetable-chopping, woodworking, flour-grinding, bread-baking, and care of our classroom and outdoor environment, which supports feelings of belonging, responsibility, and accomplishment
Daily free play (indoors and outdoors), giving each child opportunity to trust their intuition, find inspiration, and solve problems as they create new worlds with their imaginations while connecting to each other and with nature
Daily stories told orally and through puppetry, which introduce a rich vocabulary and build a strong foundation for literacy and sequential thinking
An artistic activity such as drawing, watercolor painting, or beeswax modeling
A snack is prepared and provided by the teachers; parents supply their child with a healthy lunch from home.
TUITION FOR 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR
4-Day Early Childhood Class (Mon-Thurs 9am-1pm)
Regular Enrollment: $9,500
Enroll by March 15th, 2020: $9,000
5-Day Early Childhood Class (Mon-Fri 9am-1pm)
Regular Enrollment: $11,800
Enroll by March 15th, 2020: $11,300
To receive the above discounted Early Enrollment rate, families must enroll on or before March 15th, 2020 and begin making tuition payments in June 2020. If you would like to pay through our payment program, we offer a 10-month payment program that will allow families to make smaller payments per month spread out over the calendar year (June-March).
Application and enrollment fees:
$100 application fee (new students only)
$150 non-refundable new student registration fee once student is accepted
$500 non-refundable annual enrollment fee on execution of contract/agreement
New for 2020-2021 School Year
Pay your student's full tuition upfront for the entire year by June 1st, 2020 and receive $1,000 off per family. (This discount does not apply to families who receive Financial Aid.)
Enrollment Fees Once accepted, there is a one-time New Student Registration Fee of $150 that is due to reserve a space in class. An Annual Enrollment Fee of $500 is also due upon registration. All fees are non-refundable.
Sibling DiscountsWe offer the following tuition discounts for siblings:
10% off for second child
20% off for third child
30% off for the fourth child
Financial Aid Financial Aid is based on a family’s financial need as determined by TADS, our enrollment management system. Families who would like to be considered for Financial Aid are required to submit all required documents online through the TADS website.
