December 20th, 2019 | Spiral of Lights

The Spiral of Lights is a beloved tradition celebrated in Waldorf schools around the world, as a celebration of the coming darkness of winter. At WSPB, a spiral garden of greenery is created in the Big Room. Children walk through the spiral with candles to signify their inner light and the promise that life begins again in spring.

At the Grades Campus, this event takes place during school hours and is for the students only.

At the Early Childhood Campus, the day of the Spiral of Lights is not a regular school day. Children come to school only for their assigned time for their class to walk and then they go home with their parents.
