Yeletzy Garzon Lead Teacher Nursery & Parent and Child

Yeletzy found Waldorf education in 2013 when her three year old started her school life in the Nursery Rosebud class here at WSPB. Since then, Anthroposophy has been a true inspiration in her practical life.

Yeletzy has been a valued member of our Early Childhood Program since 2014, contributing as a Pre-K and Kindergarten assistant, Aftercare assistant, and Movement Circle teacher. Since 2022, Yeletzy has served as Early Childhood Lead Teacher. She also currently leads our Parent and Child program, extending her commitment to nurturing young children and their families.

In addition, Yeletzy was a full-time subject teacher at our Grades location, where she taught Spanish, Handwork, Movement, and Games to grades 1-8. Born and raised in Colombia, Yeletzy holds a Bachelor of Arts and Literature in Foreign Languages (Spanish and French) and a certificate in Therapeutic Movement for Early Childhood Teachers. She has been a teacher for over 22 years and enjoys gardening, reading, and crafting.
