Naïka Gabriel
6th grade teacher
Being a teacher has always been a lifelong dream for Ms. Gabriel. She was inspired by her mother who was an ESE teacher for over 20 years. She holds a BA in International Affairs from George Washington University, a BSN from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, and a Masters in Public Health from George Washington University. Ms. Gabriel also studied midwifery and is a practicing doula.
Ms. Gabriel worked in Public Education for over 20 years in various roles. She has been a tutor, a reading interventionist and has taught 7th grade reading and language arts. She is currently enrolled in the Explorations Program with the Center for Anthroposophy, a prerequisite to becoming a certified Waldorf Teacher.
Ms. Gabriel is also a children's book author who enjoys writing stories that speak to the heart and soul of people, young and old.
